2. Basilica Block Party
August 2 & 3
A two-day music festival at Boom Island Park, featuring multiple acts on different stages. This years Basilica Block Party will feature Goo Goo Dolls, The Fray, Dean Lewis, The Counting Crows and Judah & The Lion.
3. Powderhorn Art Fair
August 3-4
The 33rd Annual Powderhorn Art Fair is slated to bring together over 190 artists, immersive art installations, food trucks, and more to Powderhorn Park.
4. Blink 182 at Target Center
August 6
"All The Small Things" and "What's My Age Again?" band, blink-182 is bringing their ONE MORE TIME tour to Minneapolis with special guest Pierce The Veil and Astronoid at Target Center.
5. On Stage @ Surly: Mt. Joy
August 6

12. Metallica at U.S. Bank Stadium
August 16 & 18
Metallica’s M72 world tour, will see the band playing two nights in Minneapolis—with each No Repeat Weekend featuring two completely different setlists and support lineups. The M72 tour will feature a bold new in-the-round stage design that relocates the famed Metallica Snake Pit to center stage.
13. Lake Street Mural Day
August 17
The first ever Lake Street Mural Day is a 3-hour free family-friendly event that will feature a festive sidewalk atmosphere filled with art, food, music, and activities.

Green Day brings The Saviors Tour to Target Field on August 17, 2024 with special guests The Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid and The Linda Lindas. On August 19, 2024, Def Leppard and Journey will be joined by Steve Miller Band at Target Field for a night you don't want to miss.

17. JoAnn Verburg: Aftershocks
August 24 - January 12, 2025
